Guided meditation is a natural holistic approach to bringing calmness and relaxation to your mind & body.
It has a wealth of benefits and is becoming more and more popular for not only providing time for relaxation, but for reducing every day stresses in this fast-paced, demanding society that we have become accustomed to.
My meditation sessions start with a breathing exercise to focus the mind on our bodies, slowing down our heart rates & blood circulation, bringing a sense of calm.
A body scan exercise is then followed to help bring awareness to our vibrational energy that flows through our body, helping to ground us and prepare for a more medaditive state.
I will then guide us through a journey in our minds, taking us to a place that we can visualise and follow as we switch off from the outside world and experience a restful place.
After 30-40 minutes of meditating I will calmly alert the group that it is time to bring our minds back into the environment in which we are in.
During my sessions I will incorporate the use of essential oils, crystals, smudge sticks, journaling and oracle card readings to provide a lovely holistic experience.
I started using meditation techniques a few years ago to help me to relax and to refocus. I was often stressed and had a couple of health related issues such as, an over-active thyroid and suffered with quite severe migraines. I had lots going on in my personal life which all contributed to tremors in my hands and was often highly strung, struggling to relax. I was introduced to guided meditation classes and attended a Buddhist meditation course. All which have had an immence impact on my life and wellbeing. So I am thrilled to be able to provide you with these classes and hope you gain as much out of them as I do.
